A Message from Direct Communication

“As part of our agreement with the WBC board, we will make sure that each of the five project towns — starting with Freedom — has a portion of its construction completed, with customers online by the end of 2025. This means you’ll begin to see work happening in your town soon, as we move steadily through each community to meet this milestone. While the initial focus is to get each town partially connected by the end of the year, please know that we remain fully committed to completing the full build-out in every town as quickly and efficiently as possible. We appreciate your continued support and patience as we work to bring high-speed internet access to every corner of your community.”

WBC will continue to act in an advisory (watchdog) role during the build phase. WBC will also, in its non-profit role, promote opportunities for community education and additional grants to serve the community needs once the network is completed.
